You play an important role in shaping the IT future of Helvetia Baloise Group. You help develop the IT strategy and set the direction for the future with a focus on new technology and innovation. In the Group Cyber Defense Center, you make sure the company stays safe and can deliver value, even during tough times. Your work helps the whole group stay strong and ready for cyber threats. You connect group strategies, projects, and local actions, making sure everyone works together on cyber security. You find threats early, help make smart decisions, and respond quickly to incidents.
Your tasks
- Be the main contact and ambassador for the Group Cyber Defense Center and support country teams in using Cyber Defense services
- Check local use of Cyber Defense services, find and explain gaps, and share these with the right people
- Look for and study cyber threats by checking suspicious activities, finding risks, and showing weak points in cyber safety
- Help respond to cyber incidents by leading, coordinating, and supporting all teams to make sure problems are solved quickly and safely
- Suggest and guide fixes and prevention steps to improve security and stop repeat attacks
- Support projects to make sure Cyber Defense needs are included from the start and put into action
- Share your knowledge, best practices, and methods, teach less experienced analysts, and help IT services get better
What you bring
- Several years of experience in Cyber Defense, like Senior Incident Responder or Tier 2/3 Analyst, with a cybersecurity provider or in a regulated field (like finance or insurance)
- Strong hands-on skills in incident response, digital forensics, threat hunting, and threat intelligence, including complex attacks and cloud environments
- SANS certificates (like GCIH, GCIA, GCED, GNFA) or similar deep knowledge in detection and response
- Very good knowledge of modern cloud environments and security (especially AWS and/or Azure), including log analysis and threats related to networks and identity
- Ability to drive Cyber Defense needs and support local teams during rollout
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical topics clearly and help with quick incident handling
- Independent, organized, and reliable work style with strong analytical thinking and quick understanding
- Good German and English skills, spoken and written
