Your tasks
- Analyze and assess complex property and engineering risks, creating clear reports and recommendations.
- Guide the development, standardization, and improvement of property and engineering insurance products, including portfolio management and underwriting guidelines.
- Advise on reinsurance strategies and help structure custom solutions to manage group-wide capacity and risk.
- Watch market trends to encourage product innovation and find ways for profitable growth in property and engineering lines.
- Work closely with teams like Risk Engineering, Claims, and Cat Nat, acting as a central resource for operational excellence.
- Lead internal training and professional development, supporting knowledge sharing and technical growth across teams.
- Represent Helvetia in professional forums and help with data-driven decisions through advanced analysis and process improvements.
What you bring
- You have a university degree in insurance, technology, or business administration, with strong knowledge of the property and engineering insurance value chain.
- You have several years of experience in property insurance underwriting or product management.
- You show advanced project management skills and enjoy working in cross-functional teams.
- You are analytical, organized, confident, and have excellent communication skills.
- You speak English fluently and ideally also French, German, Italian, or Spanish, and are open to occasional travel in Europe.
- You are passionate about insurance innovation in property and engineering and have strong skills in building relationships with stakeholders.
