Join a team that helps shape the future of data and AI solutions in a global company leading digital transformation in the construction sector. You'll work closely with business partners to unlock the value of data for both Hilti and its customers, contributing to meaningful projects and gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. The internship duration is six months, with a preferred start in March, but flexible based on your availability.
Your tasks
- Work on important data and AI use cases within a large organization
- Focus on one business domain, such as product, marketing & sales, or logistics
- Develop the product vision for a data and AI solution together with business partners
- Translate business needs into clear requirements and ensure the solution delivers measurable value
- Own and manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and guide development in an agile setting
- Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, front-end developers, domain experts, and IT teams to design and deliver solutions
- Drive change management and ensure solution adoption
- Optimize KPIs through continuous improvement and success measurement
What you bring
- Enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field during the internship
- Strong ability to connect business needs with technology solutions
- Understanding of the full lifecycle of data and AI solutions, from idea to deployment and success measurement
- Solid knowledge of cloud data platforms, data engineering, Generative AI, and Machine Learning
- Proven leadership skills without formal authority, showing ownership, ambition, and influence
