As an intern, you will actively contribute to our finance team by working on challenging projects, assist in the preparation of financial corporate presentations to Top Management, and support the development and implementation of various aspects of our finance strategy. The start date for the internship is flexible to the student's availability, with a preferred duration of at least 6 months.
Tasks
- Work on challenging projects within the finance team.
- Assist in preparing financial corporate presentations for Top Management.
- Support the development and implementation of finance strategy aspects.
- Participate in structural, tactical, and operational projects for the global strategic procurement team or execute key processes and system programs linked to company strategy (if interested in Procurement).
- Develop finance and analytics skills, engage with business stakeholders across the organization, and gain understanding of financial closing activities and performance analysis (if interested in Accounting, Audit & Controlling).
- Contribute to global projects focused on Systems & Processes and provide support to internal customers for treasury services (if interested in Treasury).
- Lead your own projects, including independent alignments with stakeholders, structuring and processing contents, and implementing improvement processes.
- Work closely with experts to drive performance excellence in finance.
Requirements
- Preferably enrolled in a master’s program (Finance, Economics, IT or Engineering) for the entire internship duration.
- Proficiency in numerical analysis and working with spreadsheets (Excel), with an affinity for using or quickly learning IT applications.
- Evidence of splitting up projects or assignments into individual tasks, setting deadlines, and navigating obstacles to successfully deliver against these deadlines.
- Structured thinking and ability to communicate structured thoughts.
- Fluent English, written and verbal.
