You join a team focused on developing and testing new methods and products for wood building structures and connectors. You follow projects from idea to implementation and contribute to making construction better for the future. The internship lasts 6-12 months, with a flexible start date based on your availability.
Your tasks
- Work with an interdisciplinary development and marketing team on wood construction challenges
- Develop, test, and optimize concepts for new products, from design to validation
- Participate in hands-on engineering activities, including ideation, mechanical design, structural calculations, and laboratory work
- Process and analyze data to enhance product usability
- Work closely with experts to bring innovative solutions to life
What you bring
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in civil or structural engineering, ideally focused on wood construction for the entire internship
- Knowledge and practical experience in wood construction
- Willingness and creativity to solve interdisciplinary technical challenges
- Passion for innovation and product development
- Proactive and self-reliant personality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent English skills; German is an advantage
