Your tasks

  • Give hands-on IT support for shopfloor systems and local workplaces, handling 1st level requests and some 2nd level issues for plant-specific solutions.
  • Support digital projects that help your plant reach the Smart Factory goal.
  • Act as the key link between local operations and global IT & Business teams.
  • Work with IT supporters from other plants, keep clear records, and coordinate with global engineering teams to keep standards, secure systems, and follow rules.
  • Join in local and global IT projects that shape the future of manufacturing.

What you bring

  • Finished IT degree or technical vocational training, with a broad base in user support.
  • 3–5 years in a global IT team and 3–5 years in customer-facing 1st/2nd level support (including ticket handling).
  • Skills to manage and fix networks, servers, telephony (Cisco CNA level), and workplace & shopfloor hardware (printers, scanners, devices, VC rooms).
  • Knowledge in IT security and basic OT security (like segmentation, secure remote access), plus careful documentation/compliance and IT asset & order handling.
  • Fluent in German and English, able to explain IT services simply, and coordinate across plants with global IT.
