Join a cross-functional team where you lead the technical development of advanced screw fastening systems. You work closely with customers to understand their needs and help define the technology strategy and roadmap. This full-time position starts from 1st April 2026 and includes opportunities to travel once or twice a year to visit partners in Asia.
Your tasks
- Develop and improve innovative, high-performing screw fastening systems.
- Analyze technical systems, explore alternative solutions, and turn them into new ideas.
- Understand customer needs to find ways to make fastening designs more efficient and ergonomic.
- Build a technology strategy and product roadmap that delivers results.
- Set up, motivate, lead, and support the technical team during the development process.
- Work closely with both internal and external partners and key stakeholders.
- Assess the technical maturity and risks of solutions, and bring a proactive, hands-on attitude to achieve great outcomes.
What you bring
- Master’s or PhD degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field.
- You enjoy developing technical solutions, have a hands-on mentality, and like leading technical teams.
- Experience in product development and team management for at least 2 years is ideal.
- Good at managing stakeholders efficiently.
- Team player with strong communication skills and confidence in discussions.
- Can work well in a global environment with a target-oriented and proactive approach.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; German is a plus.
