Tasks
- Engage in close teamwork among dermatopathologists, pathologists, and clinicians.
- Perform independent diagnostics across the spectrum of dermatopathology.
- Present histological specimens weekly during internal clinicopathological discussions and participate in exchanges with tumor boards.
- Continuously improve performance and provided service.
- Initiate and support research projects within dermatopathology.
- Participate in teaching, continuing education, and professional development.
Requirements
- Board-certified dermatologist with completed subspecialty training in dermatopathology, or board-certified pathologist with expertise in dermatopathology.
- Diploma in Dermatopathology (ICDP – UEMS International Board Certification in Dermatopathology) or acquisition in the near future.
- Responsibility for providing high-quality dermatopathology.
- Application of molecular pathological diagnostics to solve dermatological and dermatopediatric requests.
- Interest in academic dermatology.
- Confident communication in German.
- Knowledge of French is an advantage.
