Join a trusted leader in aviation and help shape the way our story is told worldwide. You will lead our global communications strategy, strengthen our brand, and drive engagement with teams and audiences around the world. This role is based onsite at our EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg office, with presence required 4–5 days per week.
Your tasks
- Develop and carry out creative communication strategies for global and EMEA audiences that match our business goals and values.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders globally and in EMEA, driving impactful storytelling and finding ways to support business growth.
- Work with HR to deliver internal communications and engagement initiatives that support our strategic priorities.
- Build strong relationships with international media, manage inquiries, and lead proactive PR and reputation efforts.
- Set and apply communications policies, tools, and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all regions.
- Make sure accurate, timely business information is available to relevant audiences and that messaging is consistent across cultures.
- Lead the creation of engaging content across all channels, working with Digital, Marketing, and Brand teams to promote the business and enhance customer experience and ROI.
- Guide issue and crisis response strategies to protect and improve the company’s reputation.
- Inspire and lead a global team of communication professionals, encouraging excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Use analytics to measure communication impact and improve strategies across platforms and formats.
What you bring
- 10+ years of senior-level experience in corporate communications or public affairs, ideally in complex, international environments.
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven ability to develop and manage large, creative global communication strategies, plans, and teams.
- Strong at turning business needs into strategic communications across many channels.
- Excellent active listening skills and the ability to quickly understand information and give clear, actionable insights.
- Proven success in driving organizational transformation and innovation.
- Strong experience in issues and crisis communications, including media and reputation management.
- Trusted business partner with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments and across cultures.
- 5+ years of leadership experience, including building and managing diverse teams.
- Native English speaker with outstanding writing and proofreading skills.
- Analytical, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and tight deadlines.
