You will be responsible for the onboarding of additional assets and trading capabilities onto the strategic order execution platform (EMS), leading requirements analysis, FIX connectivity, SWIFT integration, security, test planning and execution, as well as end-to-end migration activities across execution, custody, and settlement systems.

This contract is through our external payroll partner, with an immediate start until 31.12.26 and possible extension.

Tasks

  • Lead requirements analysis, solution and security design, and technical delivery coordination for asset onboarding and order execution capability integration.
  • Own the implementation of FIX connectivity, trading interfaces, and integration solutions across internal and external platforms.
  • Translate functional specifications into test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the primary SME for technical services, SWIFT messaging, securities and fund trading workflows, bridging business and technology teams.
  • Coordinate end-to-end testing activities, including connectivity, system integration, user acceptance testing, security testing, and migration validation.
  • Ensure alignment across Business, Technology, Operations, vendors, custody migration initiatives, and external providers to achieve production readiness.
  • Proactively manage technical dependencies, risks, defects, and delivery timelines to ensure successful onboarding and migration outcomes.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the delivery of trading technology, execution services, asset onboarding, and integration initiatives within Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets environments.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and business analysis skills, with proven ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications, solution designs, and comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Proven experience implementing and supporting FIX connectivity, trading interfaces, and end-to-end system integration across internal platforms, external counterparties, and market infrastructures.
  • Strong understanding of execution services, securities and fund trading, order lifecycle management, settlement, custody processes, and SWIFT messaging standards.
  • Hands-on experience defining and executing system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), connectivity testing, migration rehearsals, and production readiness activities.
  • Ability to act as a key SME and liaison between Business, Technology, Operations, Avaloq teams, vendors, and external service providers, ensuring successful end-to-end delivery.
  • Experience delivering complex technology and migration initiatives using Agile delivery methodologies combined with structured governance and control frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage technical dependencies, risks, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly delivery-focused, resilient, and capable of operating effectively under pressure while maintaining high quality standards and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (verbal/written).
