Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in an international corporate finance environment? The Valuation & Financial Modelling team assists clients in creating, growing and preserving value in connection with M&A, joint ventures, post-merger integrations, restructurings and disputes.

Tasks

  • Support the team in performing company, intangible asset, and business valuations as well as financial and market analyses
  • Assist with financial modelling, market research, capital market analyses, and cost of capital assessments
  • Contribute to valuation engagements related to M&A transactions, fairness opinions, accounting matters, tax planning, and dispute resolution
  • Help analyze and value financial instruments, including options, derivatives, and structured products, under the guidance of experienced professionals
  • Prepare research, presentations, valuation reports, and client deliverables for a wide range of projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including transaction services, restructuring, accounting, tax, and legal specialists
  • Gain exposure to projects for both large international corporations and mid-market companies in a dynamic and international environment
  • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, market analyses, and other marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field with a strong academic performance
  • You bring a strong interest in corporate valuation, financial modelling, M&A, and capital markets
  • You have initial experience with financial analysis and modelling through coursework, internships, student projects, or extracurricular activities
  • You bring an analytical mindset with the ability to work with financial data and assess complex business situations
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • You possess strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international and multidisciplinary environment
  • You have a high level of curiosity, initiative, and attention to detail, combined with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • You are fluent in German and English
