Liebherr Machines Bulle SA is the centre of excellence for combustion engines and hydraulic components, developing and producing products used in building construction, civil engineering, mining, agriculture, decentralised energy, machine and plant engineering, as well as aerospace.
Tasks
- Responsible for daily management of a purchasing portfolio.
- Analyze the portfolio, sort offers, update prices, and handle related administrative tasks.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, including sourcing, RFQs, price negotiations, contract management, long-term agreements, business reviews, QDCF, etc.
- Responsible for supplier performance and drafting reports.
- Manage supplier-related risks, handle resulting crises, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate supplier evaluations with the supplier quality management department and support audits.
- Implement cost-reduction activities and ensure their follow-up.
- Look for the best technical solutions to guarantee design-to-cost (DTC).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, economics, management, project management, or purchasing.
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a buyer in the automotive, construction equipment, aviation, or railway sectors.
- Good knowledge of French, German, and English.
- Proficient with an ERP system, SharePoint (intranet), and MS Office.
- Organized, flexible, strong analytical skills, and excellent ability to work in a team.
- Open to developing skills in the field and results-oriented.
