Take charge of products throughout their entire lifecycle and drive innovation in the defence sector. You play a key role in shaping product strategies, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring products meet market needs and business goals.
Your tasks
- Manage assigned products through their full lifecycle
- Assess product performance and take actions to meet business targets with stakeholders
- Define and specify products using input from Product Strategy, customers, R&D, and market trends
- Engage directly with customers and gather insights
- Lead market and product activities, including cost reduction, cost control, pricing, and profitability
- Coordinate new product integrations with Project Management and Marketing
- Turn the innovation roadmap into valuable product offerings
- Decide on regional product coverage and align regional needs
- Work closely with Technical Sales, customers, and R&D to define product strategy and portfolio
- Provide input and manage the development of the engine configurator
What you bring
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field
- Over 5 years of experience in product management and engineering, especially in combustion engine development within matrix organizations
- Strong knowledge of powertrain solutions for land defence applications
- Fluent in German and English (C1), good command of French (B2)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Project
- Strong commercial and customer-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication, adaptability, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Resilient, self-confident, and assertive
