Your tasks
- Understand customer and market needs for diesel gensets
- Define product strategy and roadmap
- Conduct business cases and profitability analyses
- Analyze market and competition in the diesel genset segment
- Manage requirements to ensure the product fulfills them
- Ensure the success of the assigned product group throughout its life cycle in a matrix organization
- Secure long- and short-term profitability of the product group
- Manage the product portfolio and product variants
- Track and improve all relevant product KPIs, including financial, quality, and delivery performance
- Monitor and participate in industry events to identify and use new developments in diesel power generation
What you bring
- University degree in Engineering with commercial understanding, or in Commercial with technical understanding
- Over 5 years of experience in product management and/or business development in the Genset industry
- Strong industry knowledge and hands-on experience with diesel engines and gensets
- Excellent command of English and German (B2); French is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project
- Strong commercial and customer-oriented mindset
- Enthusiastic and open personality with excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Resilient and assertive approach
