The actual location of this job is in Basel Stücki, Switzerland. For our successful Drug Product focused branch located in Basel and Stein, Switzerland, we have exciting opportunities. Tasks
- Routine sample preparation of drug product samples with an automated liquid handler as well as maintenance of automation systems
- Design, develop, program, and implement automated solutions using various digital platforms (e.g. Microsoft 365 products)
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in automation and digitalization to lead various workstreams
- Participate in root cause analysis for automation-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure all automation activities comply with relevant GxP regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Engage directly with automation scientists and other stakeholders to propose and implement automated solutions accordingly
Requirements
- Master Degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Life Sciences or a related field
- Proficient programming skills in Python and other languages relevant to automation
- Hands-on experience with liquid handlers is highly desired, e.g. experience with state-of-the-art liquid handler software/hardware such as Hamilton Vantage/STAR line or, Tecan Fluent/Evo
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required. Any other languages are a plus
