Lonza’s Drug Product site in Stein, Switzerland, is expanding its manufacturing capabilities, capacity and workforce, strengthening its role within the global Integrated Biologics network and contributing to large-scale commercial manufacturing. An experienced HR Site Head is sought to join the Stein Site Leadership Team and shape the people and organization agenda behind this continued growth. As the principal HR partner to the Site Head, you will play a pivotal role in building the organization, leadership capabilities and workforce required to support manufacturing ramp-up, operational readiness, reliable execution and sustainable site performance. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an HR professional who understands the realities of a complex manufacturing environment and can combine strategic HR leadership with strong operational business partnering.
Tasks
- Partner with the Site Head and Leadership Team to provide strategic HR guidance and support organizational success
- Develop and execute workforce and people strategies aligned with site growth and manufacturing objectives
- Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives that support business expansion
- Build leadership capability through coaching, succession planning, and talent development programs
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure teams have the skills and resources needed for operational excellence
- Use workforce data and organizational insights to support decision-making and drive performance improvements
- Ensure effective delivery of HR services while maintaining compliance with Swiss employment regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or complex manufacturing environment
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing business strategy through people-focused solutions
- Strong expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and change management
- Knowledge of employee relations practices and Swiss employment law
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills
- Fluency in English and German is required
