Your tasks

  • Monitor pilot plant instrumentation to keep everything running smoothly and reduce downtime.
  • Perform instrument maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and on-call support tasks.
  • Work with pilot plant, laboratory, QA, engineering, and safety teams to solve electrical and automation issues.
  • Diagnose first-level electrical and automation problems and decide if repairs are done internally or by an external service.
  • Follow calibration procedures, keep technical documentation updated, and apply corporate engineering standards.
  • Use digital tools to create data analytics reports and share insights.
  • Support automation projects, help with commissioning, and bring in new technologies.
  • Always follow strict safety, food safety, and quality standards with zero tolerance for unsafe situations.

What you bring

  • Electrical and/or automation technician diploma or similar qualification.
  • At least three years of experience in instrumentation, automation, or E&A in R&D or industrial settings.
  • Strong skills in process instrumentation, calibration, process control, and loop tuning.
  • Knowledge of PLC/HMI programming, electrical safety, and maintenance practices.
  • Experience in food processing technologies, hygienic engineering, and food safety is a plus.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate well with other teams.
  • Fluent in English and French, spoken and written.
