Your tasks
- Prepare and carry out laboratory experiments by following set protocols and quality standards.
- Keep clear records of your results and make sure all data is traceable.
- Organize and manage experimental information in special databases.
- Help project teams plan and run experiments.
- Use, look after, and calibrate advanced lab and pilot-scale equipment.
- Update and develop lab instructions, routine methods, and SOPs.
- Help create food prototypes and take part in experimental cooking.
- Support report writing with guidance from senior scientists.
What you bring
- CFC Chimie, Physique or similar, or a Bachelor HES in Chemistry or Physics.
- 1-2 years of experience in a lab, food, or applied science setting.
- Can run experiments, manage data, and follow protocols closely.
- Curious and analytical, able to solve problems in different ways.
- Knowledge in particle size distribution, rheology, tensiometry, foam analysis, or dispersion stability is a plus.
- Knowledge in food liquid processing (like UHT, homogenization), food ingredients (especially dairy, proteins, or hydrocolloids) is a plus.
- Interest in food innovation, prototyping, and culinary experiments.
- Fluent in French and able to work independently in an English-speaking setting.
