As part of the NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialists (NVIS) team, you will contribute to building some of the largest and fastest AI factory systems globally, supporting academic and commercial groups revolutionizing deep learning and data analytics.

Tasks

  • Deploy, manage, and maintain AI infrastructure for new and existing customers.
  • Act as the domain expert with customers during planning calls through implementation.
  • Prepare handover documentation and perform knowledge transfers to support customers as they roll out advanced systems.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams, including opening bugs, documenting workarounds, and suggesting improvements.
  • Interact with customers, partners, and internal teams to analyze, define, and implement large-scale AI Factory projects involving networking, system design, and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years providing in-depth support and deployment services in data centers, solving problems for hardware and software products.
  • Knowledge and experience with Linux Operating System, including administration, process management, package management, task scheduling, kernel management, boot procedures/troubleshooting, performance reporting/optimization/logging.
  • Knowledge and experience with data center network products and protocols.
  • Knowledge and experience with data center monitoring solutions.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain and deliver resolutions for customer-blocking issues as they arise.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task with limited supervision.
  • NVIDIA Certification such as AI Infrastructure and Operations/AI Infrastructure/AI Operations or equivalent (preferred).
  • Kubernetes experience (preferred).
  • Experience with AI-focused hardware (GPUs) or software (Training/Inferencing) (preferred).
  • Scripting/Automation tooling background (preferred).
  • Industry-standard data center certifications (preferred).

Benefits

  • Base salary determined by location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions.
  • Italy base salary range: 66,000 EUR – 114,000 EUR for level 4, and 86,250 EUR – 149,500 EUR for level 5.
