You lead a global team of scientific experts and drive innovation in material science, chemistry, mineral sciences, and biology. You help shape the company's scientific reputation and future, focusing on leadership, strategic teamwork, and impactful research. As part of the R&D Leadership Team, you define and carry out forward-thinking strategies, build strong teams, and make R&D Services a key part of the company's innovation efforts.
Your tasks
- Develop and carry out a global strategy for R&D Services that supports the company’s innovation goals.
- Build advanced scientific skills to help with innovation and manufacturing across teams.
- Represent the company as a thought leader at conferences, through publications, and in the patent portfolio.
- Make the department and team known worldwide as leaders in their scientific fields.
- Shape and carry out strategic projects as part of the global R&D Leadership Team.
- Give clear direction and leadership to team members, even in uncertain situations.
- Coordinate and align R&D Services groups in all R&D Technology Centers.
- Find and develop future R&D leaders and encourage a culture of agility, excellence, and proactive business partnering.
- Promote teamwork and sharing of knowledge across the global R&D network.
- Strengthen partnerships with outside experts, institutions, and scientific groups.
- Lead joint projects that grow the company’s innovation abilities and global reach.
- Support communication inside and outside the company to highlight the company as a leader in innovation.
- Help raise the company’s profile and credibility in the scientific community.
- Act as a role model for integrity, safety, and ethical standards, always showing responsibility and accountability.

- Broad scientific knowledge across several R&D disciplines.
- International work experience and readiness to travel often.
- Fluent in English and the local language; other languages are a plus.
