Tasks
- Lead large scale footwear innovation projects in agile environments.
- Run non-linear FEA (explicit/implicit) and create digital twins.
- Develop digital material cards for hyperelastic foams, rubbers, and viscoelastic polymers using experimental test data.
- Script and automate simulation workflows.
- Integrate machine learning in predictive modeling.
- Work independently under deadlines on several projects simultaneously, requiring innovative ideas and engineering problem-solving.
- Travel up to 15% of the time.
Requirements
- 10+ years of footwear-specific and proven experience with footwear innovation projects.
- Deep expertise in non-linear FEA (explicit/implicit) and digital twin creation.
- Good understanding of traditional manufacturing processes in high-performance footwear.
- Deep understanding of polymer science and compound mechanics.
- Mastery in Radioss, Abaqus, Hypermesh.
- Proficiency in NX, Solidworks, Rhino.
- Ability to script and automate simulation workflows.
- Experience integrating machine learning in predictive modeling.
- Ability to work independently under deadlines on multiple projects.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
