Your tasks

  • Take part in commissioning activities by documenting, checking equipment functions, troubleshooting, and handling manual tasks in mechanical, electrical, or process areas, depending on your skills
  • Safely operate and monitor a pilot-scale research plant with reactors, distillation units, and other chemical processing equipment
  • Help prepare for operations by joining trainings and helping write and improve standard operating procedures and other documents
  • Collect and prepare samples for laboratory analysis
  • Analyze trends and help solve problems in the plant
  • Work closely with process engineers, chemists, and team members to carry out experimental plans and support scale-up activities
  • Communicate clearly with team members across shifts to ensure smooth handovers and steady operations

What you bring

  • Degree from a university of applied sciences or university in engineering, chemistry, or a similar field, or vocational training related to chemical plants
  • Ready and able to work in shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Knowledge in operating, commissioning, or designing chemical plants is an advantage
  • Experience with safe operation involving high pressure and flammable materials is helpful
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality in all tasks
  • Good English skills; German is a plus
  • Physically able to do manual work, including lifting, standing, and working in different environmental conditions
