Your tasks
- Work on the NCCR Muoniverse sub-project F4: Hunting for rare muon observables
- Advance the theoretical framework for rare muon observables
- Write your PhD thesis in theoretical particle physics
- Support teaching activities at the institution of your thesis advisor
- Fulfil the requirements of the University of Zurich graduate school in physics
What you bring
- Master's degree in physics
- Background in theoretical particle physics
- Good analytical and programming skills, including computer algebra and numerical methods
- Interest in connecting ideas and people across disciplines, with a commitment to open, cooperative, and knowledge-sharing research cultures
- Ability to work well in collaborative and international research environments and contribute to interdisciplinary teamwork
- Fluent in English
