Join a team of aviation enthusiasts in Chamblee, GA and help keep our aircraft flying by making sure we have the parts and services we need, when we need them. You will help with buying aircraft parts, consumables, and repair services to support maintenance and daily operations.
Your tasks
- Buy aircraft parts, components, consumables, and repair services for operational and AOG needs
- Review and process purchase requests and orders in the ERP system
- Find materials from approved vendors, considering price, availability, lead time, and urgency
- Work with Maintenance, Avionics, Warehouse, and other teams to meet material needs and delivery timelines
- Track open purchase orders, check vendor performance, and fix material or documentation issues
- Keep purchasing records and help with inventory planning, traceability, and following regulations
What you bring
- At least 5 years of experience in aviation purchasing, procurement, or materials management is preferred
- Know about aircraft parts traceability, FAA documentation, and illustrated parts catalogs
- Experience with AOG operations and fast material sourcing is preferred
- Strong computer skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Good organizational, communication, and vendor coordination skills
- Can handle many priorities in a fast-paced environment
