Pilatus is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join the team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will direct, support, and assist the assigned team in the fabrication and/or installation of aircraft structural modifications, and inspect all structures work accomplished by the team to ensure compliance with established specifications, regulations, and quality standards.

Tasks

  • Lead a team of structural technicians and ensure completion of assigned project aircraft within allotted time frame and budget.
  • Install, modify, and fabricate aircraft structural assemblies and associated components in accordance with engineering drawings and VV specifications closely aligned with AC43.13-1B.
  • Train, instruct, and orient new team members in associated work assignments to meet production requirements.
  • Perform inspections of incoming parts and aircraft, including incoming and outgoing inspections.
  • Ensure work is performed to the highest degree of safety and quality standards per FAA regulations.
  • Maintain required records and complete work order tasks in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with structural fabrication and integration on PC-12 and PC-24 or similar aircraft.
  • FAA Airframe License required; A&P preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Tech Data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and uphold high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • This position involves access to technology that is subject to U.S. export controls. Any job offer made will be contingent upon the applicant's capacity to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls.

  • The hiring range is $33.27 - $46.92 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant skills and experience, education, job location, internal equity, market data, and business considerations. The hiring range may be modified in the future based on business or market conditions. Any bonus, incentive compensation, benefits, or other forms of compensation are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans, programs, and policies and may be modified in accordance with applicable law.
