Tasks

  • Develop and maintain user-facing features for the communication platform.
  • Ensure seamless interactions, responsiveness, and high-quality UI across devices.
  • Work closely with backend, design, and other teams to deliver reliable and user-centric features.
  • Advocate for clean, maintainable code and strong frontend architecture.
  • Balance performance, accessibility, and rapid feature delivery to provide the best experience for users.
  • Collaborate in a global team to shape Proton Meet, launched in 2026 to provide free encrypted video calls for all.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with React, developing performant and reusable components.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript or any typed language.
  • Experience leading large and complex projects as a front engineer.
  • Bonus for experience using agentic AI.
  • Bonus for experience in audio/video app, WebRTC, and Messaging Layer Security.
