The Group Product & Trade Compliance department (GPTC) aims to prevent supply chain disruption and brand reputation damage from regulatory non-compliance. The GPTC Data & Operations Excellence team manages strategies and solutions to ensure Product & Trade Compliance effectiveness across the Group, leveraging best-in-class processes, technology, and data management to support efficient end-to-end operational solutions for Compliance effectiveness while minimizing constraints on impacted processes and organization.
Tasks
- Leverage thorough knowledge of Corporate Trade Compliance Processes & Data to support colleagues and partners.
- Ensure appropriate Trade Compliance processes, their formalization and optimization across global trade activities such as import, export, special procedures, duties & FTA.
- Transfer knowledge through training or consulting to internal stakeholders to support their operations across the end-to-end value chain.
- Monitor relevant KPIs, act as a Trade Compliance Data Quality Control Tower, and identify suboptimal processes.
- Conduct root-cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure robustness and performance of processes.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert or Stream Lead in broader projects led by other entities.
- Ensure process formalization and optimization on global trade compliance scope, including data management guidelines.
- Provide support and consulting services for internal stakeholders on Trade compliance data and processes.
- Conduct training in processes and system-driven solutions to empower people.
- Analyse support demand for Trade Compliance implementation solutions concerning system and data under process ownership and conduct appropriate enhancement or initiative framing.
- Perform data stewardship for data contributed by stakeholders (Maisons, Group, Region) under Data Governance responsibility.
- Support projects requiring PTC data management and process expertise.
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in an international environment in the field of Trade Compliance.
- Comfortable with Supply Chain & Trade regulatory domain area (HS Commodity Codes, Regulatory documentation & policies interpretation, International Logistics Operational flows).
- Experience in Business Analysis, Process Management or Project Management is an advantage.
- Meticulous and very detailed-oriented.
- Comfortable with Digital & IT systems logic and software user interface (good understanding of SAP and SAP GTS is a plus).
- General proficiency with Excel (data manipulation, export, filters, Xlookup, pivot table, etc.).
- A kind, consultative and cooperative way of interacting.
- A sense of Customer focus.
- A proactive mindset in challenging the status quo and supporting continuous pragmatic improvement initiatives.
- Fluent in French.
- Full proficiency in English due to daily interaction with multi-cultural stakeholders.
- Speaking Italian and/or German is a serious plus.
