Tasks

  • Develop and maintain automated solutions for diagnostic systems.
  • Support robotics integration within laboratory environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automating and tooling to maintain and further develop launched complex diagnostic systems.
  • Elaborate on (Cobots-)Robotics concepts within a laboratory environment towards the vision of a dark lab by fully automating laboratory operations and workflows.
  • Program, test, and maintain newly created and existing automated solutions within laboratories.
  • Support Integration Teams in the installation and troubleshooting of Robotics Solutions within the laboratory environment.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute work packages within your area of responsibility, including reporting and escalating topics or issues to the team and management.
  • Work as an individual and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in computer science, with specific knowledge in robotics and/or vision, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of professional software development with one or more programming languages (e.g. UR-Polyscope, Python, C#/NET, LabView).
  • Excited to work as a professional in the medical diagnostics industry.
  • Excellent spoken and written command of English (German is advantageous).
  • Ability to communicate appropriately with different target groups.
  • Motivated to build, manage, and foster relationships and networks within the department and related projects.
  • Quick grasp and understanding of complex issues, with conceptual and creative thinking.
