You develop retail channels for construction materials across the EMEA region. In this new role, you work closely with local marketing teams to grow sales channels like home centers, hardware stores, and online shops. You lead key accounts in retail and travel regularly across Europe (about 30-40% of your working time).
Your tasks
- Define and implement the regional retail channel strategy with Corporate Distribution, making sure it fits market trends and business goals.
- Grow key retail channels, including Hardware Stores and Pure Internet Players (PIP).
- Support priority countries and areas to improve channel performance and solve specific needs.
- Integrate innovation and sustainability into the retail channel strategy to meet company goals and customer expectations.
- Develop an omnichannel strategy to make the customer journey smooth by connecting online and offline experiences.
- Work with the Key Account team to build strong relationships and align trade channel projects with key account goals.
- Track sales and profitability, making sure targets are met and finding ways to improve.
What you bring
- At least 5 years of experience driving retail channel strategies on a regional or international level.
- Proven experience with international Key Accounts (Home Centers), Hardware Stores, and E-commerce platforms.
- Good knowledge of the construction retail environment in EMEA.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel strategies and the changing retail market.
- Ability to analyze sales data and profitability to improve performance.
- Fluent in English and business-level German.
- Strategic mindset with a history of using innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills to work across different markets.
- Ready to travel up to 40% of the time.
