You help develop stable and scalable services for the Product Information Management (PIM) platform at Sika, based on Stibo STEP. You create APIs and microsites that improve business processes and support the rollout of PIM. You add extra software engineering power to the team to boost integrations, automations, and productivity.
Your tasks
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain PIM features in and around Stibo STEP, following PIM processes
- Support the design of STEP data models, workflows, integrations, and APIs with Corporate, Business, and IT teams
- Make sure PIM changes help with country onboarding, new company acquisitions, and data clean-up
- Help with clear documentation, system governance, and follow PIM project plans
- Build software solutions for internal and external users using software engineering best practices
- Enforce technical and process standards for the PIM platform
- Work with key people to make sure technical decisions fit Sika's strategy
- Influence project timelines and resources when technical issues arise
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 3 years of full stack software engineering experience
- Strong skills in Python and JavaScript
- Knowledge in databases, algorithms, and user experience principles
- Strong commitment to customer service and good communication skills
- Willingness to work on different types of tasks and enjoy doing so
