Tasks
- Market development and customer management
- Development of sales strategy for designated customers and markets
- Proactive opportunity identification with customers, installed base, product management and further stakeholders
- Represent Stadler Rail Service at relevant events and exhibitions
- Offer management
- Lead successful management of repair, revision, and refurbishment sales opportunities
- Design winning offer concept and strategy together with the bid management team
- Responsible for writing refurbishment quotations
- Responsible for competitive offering and price calculations of refurbishments and overhauls
Requirements
- Higher education degree in Transportation Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Economics or similar
- Experience in the railway industry, ideally in the areas of sales and/or services
- Good stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities
- Independent and structured working method
- Team player with positive sales mindset, drive and willingness to learn
- Fluent in English; German and further European languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel (approx. 40%)
