Tasks

  • Development of safety-critical vehicle and track-side software in accordance with the requirements of EN 50126, 50128, 50716, and 50129
  • Implementation of new features in signalling products, with focus on NOVA Pro CBTC System
  • Development of vehicle software for automated, driverless operation
  • Support for assessments and state-specific approvals
  • Prepare and maintain Requirement Specification and Architecture and Design as input for validation and assessment
  • Implement code according to software component design
  • Integration test of different subsystems upon software release of products

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Railway Signalling principles and practices (Mainline Interlocking and/or CBTC), with minimum 10 years of experience
  • Good knowledge and proven usage of railway standards (e.g. EN 50126, 50129, 50128 or 50716, TS 50701, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, IEC61131-3)
  • Requirement Management with IBM Doors Next Generation (DNG) Tool
  • Principles of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Functional programming with FBD and/or ST languages (High Level Programming like C/C++/Phyton is a plus)
  • Familiar with Version Control tools like GIT, SVN etc.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work harmoniously within a team
  • Ability to analyze and solve analytical problems, with a commitment to meeting deadlines
