Tasks

  • Alignment of customer requirements with generic product and creation of project-specific System Description
  • Creation of project-specific documentation like Interface Specifications, customer Manuals, Release Notes, BoM etc.
  • Configuration of CBTC sub-systems according to system requirements and project characteristics
  • Support assembly, installation, test and commissioning as well as homologation and any other project activity needed
  • Coordination with internal teams, customers, suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders
  • Work in bid teams to complete the technical part of bids, ensuring customer requirements are met while the solution is aligned with the generic product

Requirements

  • Completed technical education as electrical, mechanical or computer science engineer (ETH/TU/FH) or comparable training
  • Several years of project experience in Railway Signalling
  • Prior involvement in CBTC projects is a highly advantageous asset
  • Knowledge of Railway Signalling principles and practices (CBTC and/or mainline Interlocking)
  • Experience in Requirements management with IBM Doors Next Generation (DNG) Tool
  • English and French or German at fluent level (spoken and written). Any other language is considered a plus
  • Team player, independent, goal- and solution-orientated
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
