At our multipurpose production site in Muttenz, you play a key role in planning and executing investment projects for electrical and instrumentation installations. You make a real impact by ensuring high standards, compliance, and innovation in every project.

Your tasks

  • Plan and execute investment projects for electrical and instrumentation installations, ensuring cost, schedule, quality, and functionality.
  • Set EMSRT standards for capital and local engineering projects.
  • Provide technical leadership for EMSRT in all aspects of the site.
  • Set standards for electrical and pneumatic instrumentation and sensors.
  • Guide installation and design for local engineering and Capex projects.
  • Identify, specify, and monitor the implementation of engineering standards to ensure compliance with company policy and local regulations.
  • Conduct smaller Capex and Opex projects on site.
  • Act as the technical know-how owner for EMSRT installations.
  • Evaluate existing equipment and infrastructure conditions.
  • Develop scope, cost, and requirements for electrical installations in CAPEX projects.
  • Control and release installations.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware malfunctions and system errors.
  • Apply knowledge of SIS hardware, fieldbus systems, and industrial networks (Profibus, HART, Foundation Fieldbus).
  • Use COMOS (advantageous).

What you bring

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or similar field.
  • Expertise with DeltaV and Siemens control systems.
  • Experience in conducting small projects.
  • Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment.
  • Project management experience in the agrochemical, pharmaceutical, chemical, or process industry preferred.
  • Experience leading external resources is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of maintenance principles and change management.
  • Knowledge of operational HSE and compliance requirements for CAPEX investments.
  • Precise working methods and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Strong ability to handle stressful situations and adapt to new situations.
  • High level of German and minimum conversational level of English.
  • Willingness to work in a chemical production environment.
