You help create and use new process technologies and automation workflows for experimental data generation and analysis. Your tasks
- Apply all required health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Keep clear records to capture project results and requirements.
- Analyze and report on complex experiment outcomes.
- Develop and share new scientific and technical ideas for technologies like continuous chemistry, photochemistry, and electrochemistry, as well as automation.
- Grow and maintain skills in programming and automation.
- Learn and develop on your own through reading, site visits, seminars, and training.
- Help improve the Process Science Team and the whole department.
- Stay active in company networks about automation, modelling, and new technologies.
What you bring
- Master's degree in chemical engineering or life science, ideally with a focus or experience in automation.
- Fluent in English; German and French are a plus.
- Good communication skills and able to see trends and explain complex ideas simply.
- Understanding or hands-on experience in flow chemistry or continuous processing.
- Basic knowledge of algorithms and programming, preferably in Python.
- Strong background in physical organic chemistry.
