You help lead engineering capital projects at our multipurpose production site in Muttenz. Your work makes a real difference in creating safe, reliable, and effective assets for our teams. You support projects mainly in Muttenz, sometimes also in Kaisten and other regional sites. You work closely with technical experts and stakeholders to make sure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Your tasks

  • Plan and manage all parts of investment projects, from start to finish
  • Act as Project Manager or Project Engineer for one or several capital projects
  • Shape project scope by turning business needs into options and making smart choices
  • Work closely with teams to design equipment and choose the best engineering solutions
  • Track costs and progress to meet tight deadlines
  • Make sure all work follows safety, company, and local rules
  • Lead and join Process Risk Assessments and safety initiatives
  • Apply project management methods and manage changes and risks
  • Coordinate technical meetings and define success factors and KPIs
  • Plan and monitor mechanical and asset commissioning phases
  • Close and document the project, handing over fully working assets to the site

What you bring

  • Degree in a technical field, ideally process, chemical, or mechanical engineering
  • Project Management Professionalism certification or similar education
  • Several years of project management experience, preferably in Agrochemical, Pharma, or Chemical industry
  • Experience leading construction projects as a project engineer or manager
  • Experience working in multinational companies and with external resources
  • Good understanding of maintenance and process risk analysis
  • Knowledge of HSE and compliance for Capex investments
  • Precise, structured, and entrepreneurial work style
  • Strong coordination skills for safe and reliable project delivery
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to handle competing demands
  • Assertive communication and the ability to engage with all levels onsite
  • Comfortable using digital tools
  • Advanced English and German skills (a third European language is a plus)
