Join a dynamic research team focused on clinical trials and studies that explore how biological, clinical, environmental, and lifestyle factors affect healthy longevity. You help generate evidence to shape strategies for longer, healthier lives at both individual and population levels. This role is based at the University of Basel Department of Aging Medicine FELIX PLATTER, part of the Swiss Campus for Healthy Longevity. Work in an interdisciplinary, international environment that bridges academic research and clinical application.
Your tasks
- Clean, analyze, interpret, and summarize data from clinical trials in both interventional and observational settings
- Support staff and doctoral students with research and methodology, including study design and proposal development
- Perform data cleaning and statistical analysis
- Write reports and manuscripts, and present findings
- Help with grant and funding proposal writing
What you bring
- PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field
- Strong experience in clinical epidemiological research or large-scale population studies; experience with epigenetics or multi-omics is a plus
- Excellent methodological skills in study design and data analysis
- Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects at the same time
- Proficient in statistical software, especially SAS or R
- Proven excellence in manuscript writing and scientific publication
- Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus
