The international economics group at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Basel, is hiring a Student Assistant with an average workload of 8 hours per week. The initial contract is for 6 months, starting in September 2026, with the possibility of extension.
Tasks
- Provide research and teaching support to Prof. Andreas Müller and the researchers in the international economics group.
- Obtain, organize and visualize data for research and teaching purposes.
Requirements
- Interest in international economics and macroeconomics.
- Affinity to scientific software and data management is helpful.
- Ideally, experience with Stata and LaTeX.
- Must be a student in good standing at the University of Basel.
- Preferably studying in the Bachelor's or Master's program of the Faculty of Business and Economics.
- High level of self-reliance and efficient attitude to work.
