Tasks
- Manage advanced neurological cases.
- Participate actively in established and developing research projects.
- Teach undergraduate veterinary students as well as postgraduate and residency training programmes.
- Mentor the next generation of neurologists.
Requirements
- Board certification in veterinary neurology (ECVN or ACVIM Diploma in Neurology) or board-eligible with a clear pathway to certification.
- Proficiency in at least one of Switzerland's national languages (German, French, or Italian), as required for professional practice in Switzerland.
- Fluency in English, which serves as the primary working language within the Divisions.
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, research, and academic engagement.
- Enthusiasm for mentoring and teaching.

The Division of Neurology is a dynamic referral service managing approximately 1,000 neurological cases per year, supported by state-of-the-art diagnostics, neurosurgery, and a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic facilities. It is embedded in the multi-disciplinary environment of the Small Animal Teaching Hospital with regular exposure to large animals.
