Your tasks
- Conduct high-quality research in strategic communication
- Complete your dissertation within four years
- Attend academic conferences and publish in academic journals
- Work together on existing projects and help develop new ones with the Strategic Communication & Media Management team
- Research and teach in innovative areas of strategic communication and related fields
- Teach one class per semester in our BA programs related to your research interests
- Pursue further academic qualifications
- Take care of organizational and administrative tasks
What you bring
- Excellent Master's degree in Communication Science or related fields
- Strong interest in strategic communication and related areas like organizational communication, corporate communication, public relations, or investor relations
- High interest in topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, management, strategy, public affairs, finance, or similar
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative methods and data analysis (content analysis, surveys, experiments, interviews); initial experience with computational methods
- Good command of R and/or Python
- Strong English skills (spoken and written)
- Scientific and open mindset, careful and reliable work style, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Willingness to move to Zurich and travel internationally to connect with scientific communities
