You have the chance to deepen your expertise in family-focused health care, digital health interventions, and user-centered design in an interdisciplinary, clinical environment. You will play a key role in the eFICUS project and collaborate closely with research partners, clinical teams, and patient research partners.
Your tasks
- Plan, carry out, and participate in co-design activities, including collecting and analyzing data through observation and interviews
- Develop the digital health intervention with research partners, clinical teams, and patient research partners
- Implement and program the digital health intervention on the technology platform with the technology partner
- Conduct small usability tests and real-world evaluations of the digital health intervention
- Prepare peer-reviewed publications and present findings to scientific, clinical, and public audiences
- Work actively with other team members and partners
- Participate in other research and teaching activities of the group
- Supervise and support Master students
- Prepare applications for competitive research funding
- Further develop your own research profile
What you bring
- PhD in Nursing Science, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related field
- Background in family health, critical care, digital interventions, or user-centered design
- Research profile in digital or public health, nursing, or critical care (experience in user-centered designs and implementation science is an asset)
- Strong interest in family-focused health care and digital health, and in keeping up with new trends and methods in clinical and implementation science nursing research
- Ability to work independently, in diverse research teams, and closely with patients, families, clinicians, and researchers across institutions or disciplines
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and effective interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and German
- Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative
- Track record of high-quality research publications and conference papers
- Ability to supervise and support undergraduate students and engage in teaching activities
