Tasks

  • Lead the Department of Traumatology.

Requirements

  • Extensive clinical expertise and scientific experience in traumatology, particularly in polytrauma research and care of polytrauma patients.
  • Habilitation or an equivalent academic qualification.
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System.
  • Subspecialty certification in spinal surgery or an equivalent foreign qualification.
  • Experience in leading or serving as deputy head of a university hospital department.
  • Comprehensive experience in leading a research group and acquiring competitive third-party funding.
  • Experience in student teaching, supervision of academic theses, and promotion of early-career researchers.
  • German language skills at level B2 of the common European framework of reference for languages, or willingness to acquire them within a reasonable period of time.
