Your tasks

  • Support the Chair with background research on family law, medical law, legal gender studies, human rights, and reproduction law.
  • Help finalize academic publications for top international legal journals and publishers.
  • Assist on-site during an international workshop for the Oxford Handbook on Families and the Law (21-23 June 2026), depending on your start date.
  • Take on teaching-related tasks, such as preparing OLAT course pages and communicating with students in Chair courses.

What you bring

  • You hold or are about to complete an excellent bachelor's degree in law.
  • You have a strong interest in family law, human rights law, legal gender studies, reproduction, or interdisciplinary law topics.
  • You are reliable and eager to learn.
  • You are proficient in German and English for scientific and work purposes; French and Italian skills are an advantage.
