Tasks
- Submit a concrete project idea (maximum three pages).

Requirements
- Match the eligibility criteria of the SNSF Starting Grants funding scheme.
- Hold a PhD degree, medical degree, or a qualification equivalent to a PhD.
- Fulfil three criteria: Eligibility Window, Career Stage, and Swiss-link.
- Applications are invited in Astrophysics, Planetary Science, Astrobiology, Galaxy Formation, Space Exploration, and Cosmology.
- Researchers specializing in planetary, exoplanet, and space sciences from theoretical, numerical, or observational perspectives are encouraged.
- Research topics may include planetary atmospheres and exoplanetary characterization, planetary evolution, planetary magnetic fields and star-planet interaction, proto-stellar and protoplanetary disks, modelling of matter at high pressures of planetary interiors, remote sensing of solar system planets, small bodies, searches for bio-signatures in exoplanet atmospheres, and space exploration of planets and moons.
- Preference for candidates whose research has clear links to ongoing research activities of the institute.
