Your tasks
- Lead the development of advanced sensor protection concepts and technologies for vacuum sensor applications.
- Investigate and test different materials, coatings, and methods to protect sensors from corrosive gases and material deposition in semiconductor processes.
- Evaluate and apply accelerated testing procedures and setups.
- Develop and characterize scalable material concepts for new-generation, industrial sensor assemblies.
- Collaborate with industrial and academic partners.
- Work as part of a multi-location R&D organization (Haag, Zürich) with up to 20% work-related travel.
What you bring
- MSc or PhD in material science, physics, chemistry, or related field.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in material-related topics.
- Experience in vacuum technology and/or the semiconductor industry.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and German.
- Understanding of semiconductor processes is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and in an organized manner.
- Strong team player who values interdisciplinary collaboration.
