Join an innovative and ambitious team at a leading global company in high-performance vacuum valves and sealing technology. You will lead a global test lab team and drive strategic initiatives to support new product development and quality standards.
Your tasks
- Lead globally distributed lab verification teams organized by product lines, scientific methods, and software/data.
- Define and implement the lab’s strategic roadmap with engineering leadership.
- Lead and support lab digitalization, infrastructure growth, and new measurement technology evaluations.
- Control and report global lab performance using defined KPIs.
- Harmonize test standards, safety protocols, and software tools worldwide.
- Maintain high-quality testing for new product launches, supplier qualifications, and customer-specific validations.
- Act as the main contact between engineering, product management, and field application engineering for test topics.
- Lead training and development programs to grow lab skills globally.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in physics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience leading a technical team in an international setting.
- Experience in vacuum and sensing technology or system engineering preferred.
- Knowledge in field programming and data science (e.g. PLC and Python).
- Proven skills in developing and implementing agile processes in high-tech environments.
- Hands-on work style and ability to accomplish tasks quickly.
- Strong English and German language skills.
- Experience in semiconductors or scientific environments is a plus.
- Willingness to travel globally (5-10%).
